From this point forward, I will only be accepting GOOD VIBES.
Sounds easy, right?
Not necessarily, but it can be done.
If you scroll through social media, it’s likely that you’ve seen a variation or three of “Good Vibes Only” or “Positive Vibes Only” peppered through your timeline. You’ve probably seen it on posters, mugs, t-shirts, and almost anything else you can get custom printed.
It’s become a statement piece, and a money-making tool for many influencers, and small businesses.
It’s a cute catchy feel good slogan, and if you’re going to make money, It’s a great message!
But what does it really mean?
Why is it important to surround yourself with positive vibes?
More importantly, how do you block out the negative vibes?
The truth about life is that you are directly affected by your surroundings. This includes the things you read, the tv shows you watch, the people you interact with in real life AND who you follow on social media. Social Media is a big one, and we’ll dive into that later.
Now, although you cannot control what people do, and how they do it, there’s one thing that you can control. Your THOUGHTS!
As I’ve gotten older I find myself taking inventory of my thoughts. Easy task? Of course not, but a worthy task indeed. Whatever I put out into the universe is what ultimately comes back to me. And, that applies to all of us. So, before I proclaimed that I was “only accepting good vibes” I had to be in the right mind space.
For example, let’s take the expression “Is the glass half empty or half full?” I know we’ve all heard this one before. It’s a common expression, generally used to determine how a person views the world. You have a choice, in any given situation, to either be optimistic (half full) or pessimistic (half empty). You can choose to see, receive, and reflect the best or the worst of what life throws at us. It’s entirely up to you.
So how do you begin to draw positivity into your life? The first step is to FOCUS on what you really you want. Because before you can go after it, you must know what IT is! And friends, this is not the time to minimize your dreams. This is when you visualize BIG! That dream house, the career you know you were made for, family vacations, being debt free! Take the time and visualize everything you know you deserve to get out of life.
And then, we’ll discuss how to get it.
So, tell me in the comments below, what do you deserve?
